Call me crazy

Since I turned fifty I've felt that I have license to do crazy things. Goofy fun things, like dancing in the grocery store, and wearing funny looking (but comfy) flower-patterned shoes when I'm out and about.

It occurred to me recently, that some of the happiest memories I have involve crazy and goofy things, they ar not limited to those that have happened since I turned fifty, and most of them, involve my fun-loving husband. Here are a few.
  • Having crepes at 3am because we couldn't sleep

  • Hearing the Village People and spontaneously doing the Y-M-C-A dance

  • Dancing around a swimming pool in Mexico one night - just the two of us

  • Having a water fight in the hot tub

What fun and crazy things have you been doing lately?

  2. I'm goofy with my daughters, but not so much in public places. My hubby tells me I need to loosen up, and he's right. :)

  5. I often do crazy things; turning 50 just made me worse! I guess the latest crazy thing I did was when I moved my summer wardrobe from the spare room into my own and the winter back ... you know! Well, it was a lengthy process (because you have to ohhhh and ahhhh over the "friends" you haven't seen in a while. So, I had my Oldies Playlist station playing on the computer. I sang along with the song, but when a particularly wild one came on that reminded me of my youthful abandon, I had to dance --- quite crazily. "Born to be Wild" near killed me!!
