Signs of spring, and a new website

This weekend I was happy to see the first signs of spring. One of the things that is nice about living here in the Pacific Northwest is that spring comes relatively early compared to other places I have lived.

Over the past few days I've seen:
  • A flock of geese heading north
  • Robins on our back lawn
  • Bulbs that I planted last fall have begun to show
I am always relieved to see these first signs that winter is on the way out, aren't you?

I spent time on the weekend getting a number of things organized.  Lately it's as if too many things have gotten out of control, and I don't function well in that environment.

Today is a writing day for me and I'm looking forward to making progress on my memoir.

Along those lines, check out my new website at lindahoye.com!

I hope it's a great and productive day for you! And the site looks great.

I'm ready for spring, too. We've still got lots of snow to dig out of, though.

Yes, yes, although it is technically winter everything is springing into life here. We have robins too and bulbs coming up everywhere.

Keep creating!

Website is looking good!

For us Floridians, it's two seasons...a brief cold spell and then ideal weather followed by summer! Wish we had a spring. I miss the New England springs where lilacs and bulbs bloom.

The website is very nice Linda! As for spring...we have it here too, but I'm pretty sure it's just a tease. Next week it'll probably be snowing again! Maybe we need to move down the block from you! :)

I'm so very ready for spring! We had a day here this past week where it was nice enough to turn off the heater and throw open the windows. Of course now its back down in a bit lower temps, but I'm watchful for those first real signs of spring!

Writing is breathing for me, and when I am not working on a story, or escaping a story that I am working on, the other words in my head shout for attention. That is the nature of writing – you captured this feeling so perfectly in your post.
