Through the Eyes of a Child

Oh, to see life through the eyes of a child again!
What causes you to feel a sense of wonder and awe?
What makes you feel the joy of childhood again?

For me it's being with my grandchildren,
playing with my dogs,
watching my garden come alive in spring,
the ferocity of the rainstorm that is currently passing overhead,
the peace of nature when I stood at Manderley,
the expectation of going on a trip (usually to see the grandchildren!),
the love of my husband.

Tell me, won't you, what brings joy to your heart?

Finding a book that can send wonderful chills up and down my spine...being with my husband anytime of day...our dogs...thinking about the fact that we are on this one tiny little planet in the middle of one tiny little galaxy in the great wide openess that is the universe...playing around with my new telescope...finding great things at the thrift store...poetry...art...I could go on and on...

Deb - there are few things that I've experienced like waiting for that first grandchild! Enjoy!
Anita - isn't it wonderful to have so many things that bring you joy!
