Signs

I am starting to see subtle signs that winter is on it's way out and we're getting ready to usher in a new season.

Here are a few things I've observed over the past few weeks that have me thinking "Spring"!

1. A flock of geese flying north

2. Robins in the trees at work

3. My daffodils are up

4. The other day when I was in my sewing room I heard the honking of geese

5. They were power washing the garden supply area at Fred Meyer the other day

6. It's still light when I leave work these days

7. I opened the sun roof in my car one sunny day

Are you thinking "Spring"?

Yes!!!!! We have actually had spring weather this weekend here in Texas. I'm ready to see pretty flowers and green grass and trees, tired of the dead look!

Low 70s here and short sleeves at the baseball field yesterday. Some rare cool bright NON-HUMID days for us. Yay. Spring's definitely announcing her presence. :)

The sunshine is beautiful here today and the promise of spring is everywhere. Can't wait for it to actually arrive.

Spring has sprung here in central FL. It may not be as dramatic a change as others of you experience. Though this past week we had temps in 20s and hard freezes which for us feels like the dead of winter! But things are blooming and the grass is starting to turn green again. Temps in 70s and sunny.

I miss the springs bulbs, lilacs and forsythia blooming up north. Spring was my favorite time of year there.

I'm praying for spring! It feels like this overcast (with a low ceiling), snowy cold weather wants to stay in Kamloops forever. Although I did hear birds chirping outside my window this morning...maybe soon!

I opened all my windows to let the house air out the other day, it was so warm. That was a great sign for me. I can't wait for spring!
