I am a full-time HR Management Systems Analyst and a part-time writer. I am currently working on the fourth draft of my memoir about my experience as an adoptee in the closed adoption system and my reconnection with my birth family. My story speaks to the impact of closed adoption on the psyche of the adoptee and the healing that learning the truth about one's heritage can bring.

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my husband and our two doted-upon Yorkshire Terriers. I have four children and two brilliant grandchildren.
